Lincoln High School is excited to announce that the 2018 2019 Program of Studies is currently available on our Policies and Handbooks page on the website. Included in the new Program of Studies are new exciting course offerings that continue to establish Lincoln High School as an educational institution that provides vast areas for students to excel in discovering their personal interests while pursuing life-long skills that will allow our students to succeed in the 21st century. The new Program of Studies also includes detailed explanation of the new state-mandated graduation standards, as well as officially establishing the new graduation requirements for the class of 2021 and beyond. Lincoln High School is also proud to highlight the official CTE academies approved by Rhode Island Department of Education(RIDE) along with details on the new Pathways available for students to pursue in their specific discipline of interest(s).
On Thursday, February 15th, 2018, students will be able to select their course on Course Selection Day. Students will be provided a Program Of Studies, as well as their Course Selection Worksheet that they will carry with them to class in order to receive required signatures from faculty members who may recommend, or approve depending on requirements, the students for select courses. During this day, students will attend their full 7 period schedule in order: A – B – C – D – E – F – G with Period F being their lunch period. See schedule break down below:
